It’s never a job, when you love what you do. 

 

I started my hairdresser life straight from school, throwing myself into it with zero expectations and a completely open mind. 

Less than half a term in at college & I knew I’d found my future. 

 

Having experienced the industry in multiple salons, towns, countries & environments, I’ve taken everything I’ve learned, good and bad, and put it all into The Lounge, ensuring I can not only give our guests the experience I have thoughtfully developed to be of the highest standard possible, but a safe space for staff, friends, family and our guests alike. 

 

Lauren Emma Hair Artistry was my first salon, and would not have been what it was, without the support from our valued clients, who are the backbone of our environment. I spent the 5 years I had the space learning, up-skilling, growing, into the person, stylist and salon owner I am today. Without growth, there is no future.

 

 

I've worked in the hairdressing industry for 23years now and have trained with brands including L'Oréal, Davines, Aveda and now our incredible and beloved Joico. In 2023 I took part in the Joico Colour Excellence Program, a 10 month colour master course specifically designed to enhance your skill as a Joico colourist, resulting in a colour degree. This was a true challenge and one I threw myself into wholeheartedly, and would not be the colour master I am today or salon owner and mentor to my team without it. 

 

 

I love my job, every minute spent with you, creating amazing hair I am truly proud of and gaining your trust and friendship.
